Now available at And So To Bed, the collection comprises five distinctive designs, each handcrafted in Vispring's Plymouth workshop and combining sculptural form with the exceptional comfort and craftsmanship at the heart of Vispring.

Vispring and Tom Dixon bring together two distinct approaches to British design: more than a century of bed-making expertise and a contemporary design language recognised around the world.

The collaboration explores the bed not simply as somewhere to sleep, but as one of the most important pieces of furniture in the home.

Bold proportions, expressive forms and distinctive silhouettes bring an architectural presence to the bedroom, while Vispring's traditional techniques, meticulous construction and enduring approach to comfort remain at its foundation.

The result is unmistakably Vispring, yet distinctly Tom Dixon.

Fat

An unapologetically generous frame, the Fat bed celebrates softness, volume and comfort. Its oversized upholstered form creates a beautifully rounded silhouette designed to feel as inviting as it looks.

Five distinctive designs

The collection comprises four statement headboards, Groove, Heart, Rainbow and Wingback, alongside Fat, a complete bed design.

Each brings Tom Dixon's sculptural approach to the bedroom in a different way.

Groove

Deep linear channels give the Groove bed its distinctive architectural character. Inspired by traditional upholstery techniques, the linear design creates a bold sense of depth and structure, with a subtle nod to the Art Deco era.

Wingback

Taking its cues from the traditional British wingback chair, this sculptural headboard exaggerates the familiar silhouette with sweeping curves and enveloping proportions, creating a feeling of enclosure around the bed.

Rainbow

Bold and oversized, the Rainbow bed transforms the headboard into a sculptural backdrop. Its concentric upholstered rings draw on patterns found in nature, movement and sound to create an unmistakable focal point.
