Olden Hotel

Situated in the world-famous Gstaad mountains, Fabiana and Bernie Ecclestone’s exclusive hotel is a Swiss chalet with a rich history that dates back to the 17th century. The hotel has recently undergone a comprehensive renovation that saw the luxurious interior refurbished to create contemporary room schemes that work sympathetically with the hotel’s long-standing heritage.

As the hotel’s interior features traditional architectural touches such as the wooden beams found in a Swiss chalet, the design team behind the Hotel Olden refurbishment selected our renowned Handel Bed for the bedrooms. The frame of the Handel bed is crafted from luxury trompe l’oeil metal to create cast iron straps and buckle details that appear like leather. The elaborate detailing and hand-finished touches that make this such a special piece ensure that the bed forms a striking centrepiece in the Hotel Olden’s bedrooms, whilst perfectly complementing the rustic feel of the surrounding landscape.

Fabiana Ecclestone, joint owner of the Hotel Olden comments; "We’ve recently undergone a big refurbishment where many of the rooms have been modernised in keeping with the historical characteristics of the hotel. We worked closely with the team at And So To Bed to craft beds that would fit in with the style of the private house. All our clients have been extremely happy.”

Our Handel bed delivers the generous proportions required for a luxury hotel bedroom and is available as either a King or Super King size. This exquisitely made bed comes in either a Black or Tan finish.
