And So To Bed was founded more than 30 years ago as a specialist in fine antique beds. When demand outstripped supply, we began to manufacture our own designs based on traditional pieces and opened our first shop, on the Kings Road. Ever since then And So To Bed’s design team has brought a special passion and spark to the world of bed design.
Traditionalists at heart, we draw inspiration from a vast array of historical designs, from a Louis Philippe lit bateau to gilded Baroque styles, Gothic four posters fit for a castle to wonderful pure brass Victorian bedsteads. Alongside these antique-inspired pieces, we also have timeless classics, perfect for contemporary interiors.
From the simplest design to the grandest fantasy, our beds are heirlooms; hand made and hand finished by artisans who are devoted to their craft. There is a breathtaking variety of polished wood, veneers and bespoke paint finishes available. Complementing our beds, we offer beautiful bedroom furniture in an eclectic range of styles as well as all the final finishing touches; from lamps and throws to luxurious bedlinens, pillows and duvets.
