Tiara Superb Mattress & Sovereign Divan by Vi-Spring

At the heart of the Tiara Superb bed are two layers of Vi-Spring four-coil springs, deeply upholstered with long-stranded South American horsetail, real Shetland Isle fleece wool and cotton.  Naturally and exquisitely comfortable, the divan base can also be completed with an upholstered headboard or the luxury mattress can be used with any of our exclusive bed frames.

Mattress Springs: 2242 luxury pocket springs in 5’0 (150cm), two layers of 1.42mm Vanadium steel springs, 60mm in diameter, sewn in individual calico pockets hand-formed into a honeycomb-nested unit.
Mattress Border: 23cm deep with three rows of genuine hand side-stitching, horizontal handles, air vents on all sides, border edges upholstered with coir and wool, hand finished with piped ticking.
Mattress Upholstery: Upholstered with 1000gsm bonded British fleece wool and cotton, then 1,200gsm hand-teased long-stranded horsetail blended with real Shetland Isle fleece wool, enclosed in a hair-proof cambric cover and overlaid with a layer of 1,200gsm blended real Shetland Isle fleece wool and cotton.  Covered with finest quality Belgian ticking.  Hand tufted with hand-tied woollen tufts and twine.
Divan Construction – Sovereign Divan: 1,344 hand-nested calico-pocketed springs mounted on a screwed and glued solid timber frame.  The divan frame is covered with insulating wadding, and the ticking case is calico lined for added protection.
Divan Upholstery: 1,200gsm natural coir pad overlaid with 1,200gsm blended British fleece wool and cotton.  Covered with your choice of our finest quality ticking or upholstery fabric from our collection.  Hand tufted with hand-tied woollen tufts and twine.

DELIVERY CHECKLIST

You will be advised of an approximate delivery date at the point of order and this will vary depending on whether the item is in stock, to be ordered and if any special finishes or upholstery are required.  When we contact you to arrange delivery of your furniture, we will ask these questions:

Are there any access issues?  For example, road width, overhanging trees, cul-de-sacs (turning circle), driveways, tunnels, archways, gates, hedges (covering walls), security gates (codes) and parking restrictions.

Are there any restrictions inside your house? For example staircases, banisters, furniture in corridors, pictures or paintings on the walls.  Is there space in the room for your new furniture?

Will you be there to supervise delivery? If not, is someone else clear about exactly where the furniture should be located?

CARE FOR YOUR MATTRESS

Letting your mattress settle
When your mattress arrives remove all wrappings to allow the mattress to air. Your mattress may seem shorter than its base/divan. Once unpacked, the mattress will gradually return to full size. If you find that the mattress is settling unevenly, turn the mattress.
Turning the mattress
Mattresses may need to be turned occasionally, regularly, or not at all. For specific advice, please consult the booklet which comes with your mattress.
Tufts
Your Vi-Spring mattress is hand-tufted. They ensure the upholstery remains in place, but are designed to 'snap' if put under any undue strain to avoid damage to the mattress. They can be easily replaced.
Cleaning your mattress
Do not use a vacuum cleaner. Use a soft brush to remove any fluff. In case of spillage, blot the liquid quickly with a dry absorbent cloth.
Moving your mattress
If you are moving house, wrap up the mattress well, give it good support and keep it flat. Never roll or fold your mattress.
