Floral Caned Headboard

The Floral headboard has a delicate, romantic look inspired by Marie Antoinette’s furniture. It is decorated with trailing tendrils of flowers and foliage, and can be hand-painted in a range of colours. This striking piece can be caned or upholstered in a wide selection of fabrics, from silk brocades to simple linens.

This headboard can be used in conjunction with any of the luxury divans and mattresses in our range and a full range of matching bedroom furniture is also available.

DELIVERY CHECKLIST

You will be advised of an approximate delivery date at the point of order and this will vary depending on whether the item is in stock, to be ordered and if any special finishes or upholstery are required.  When we contact you to arrange delivery of your furniture, we will ask these questions:

Are there any access issues?  For example, road width, overhanging trees, cul-de-sacs (turning circle), driveways, tunnels, archways, gates, hedges (covering walls), security gates (codes) and parking restrictions.

Are there any restrictions inside your house? For example staircases, banisters, furniture in corridors, pictures or paintings on the walls.  Is there space in the room for your new furniture?

Will you be there to supervise delivery? If not, is someone else clear about exactly where the furniture should be located?

CARE FOR YOUR PAINTED WOODEN HEADBOARD

Hand-painted furniture has an intrinsic beauty of its own and will vary from project to project, so a suite of furniture may comprise several items of varying hue. Once painted, every piece of furniture is then artistically distressed to mimic the wear and tear associated with the passing of time. Subtle differences should not be regarded as a defect.

Looking after your painted wood headboard
Textured and brush-applied painted finishes have an eggshell sheen lacquer. You should not use wax on these finishes. Instead, clean with a cloth dampened in mild soapy water.  To avoid warping and splitting keep wooden headboards away from direct heat sources such as radiators or fireplaces.  Avoid bleaching by keeping your painted wooden headboard out of direct sunlight.

Moving the bed
Do not pull or push your bed from the headboard, as this may cause serious damage. Instead, with one person on either side of the bed, hold the frame or divan at the midway point, and carefully lift or slide the bed into position.
