Pure cotton or linen makes the best bed linen because the fabric breathes and keeps the body at an even temperature, cool in summer or warm in winter.  Egyptian long staple cotton has much longer individual fibres than other cottons and is always combed.  And So To Bed linens are made from 100% Egyptian cotton cloth.  There is a misconception that high thread count alone means higher quality, but the quality of the yarn from which the fabric is woven and the finishing of the cloth is actually more important.
