Protecting your wooden lamp
We have protected your wooden lamp with coats of lacquer and a layer of wax.To avoid warping and splitting, keep wooden items away from direct heat sources such as radiators or fireplaces. Avoid bleaching by keeping your wooden lamp out of direct sunlight.

Cleaning your wooden furniture
Avoid using silicone waxes, lemon oil and oil-based polishes on your fine wooden lamp base . Use a good quality beeswax to protect your wooden lamp, and wax new furniture during the first 30 days. Between waxings, dust wooden items with a soft, moist, lint-free cloth.

Moving your lamp
Never lift a lamp by its shade.  Instead, use one hand to support the base and the other to support the shade.  Ensure that the cable is not tangled up before plugging in.
